August 26, 2008, 9:04 pm: Rehearsals have begun for the Broadway transfer of the Royal Court production of Anton Chekhov's, 'The Seagull', Previews begin 16th September and the opening night is 1st October.  The production will run until 21st December. Evening performances from Tuesday to Saturday at the Walter Kerr Theatre, NYC begin at 8.00pm with Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2.00pm.  There will be a Sunday performance at 3.00pm but no show on a Monday.    Sadly four of the original cast are unable to join the transfer and their parts will be played by; Peter Sarsgaard (Trigorin) Zoe Kazan (Masha) Ann Dowd (Polina) Julian Gamble (Shamrayev).   August 14, 2008, 4:48 pm: As regular visitors will have noticed the website has been successfully hacked into not once but twice! We would recommend that you avoid the gallery as viruses seem to have been placed there. We may in the future have to suspend the site till the problem is solved. We can but hope that the hackers have now moved on to another unsuspecting site or that this is personal.
